The steps to stoned heaven…

The word rare is used quite freely in the watch world, but today we have a truly rare watch, thought to exist in maybe a handful of examples ! The Ellipse D’Or reference 3634 is a large size Ellipse measuring 38x33.5mm and features a very unusual three-step case.
What makes this watch stand out is the vibrant blue hardstone dial that is exceedingly rare in these models. The dial is outstanding with slim white gold minute and hour hands that give the watch a clean and elegant look. The watch is powered by the legendary automatic calibre 28.255, the same movement as the 3700 Nautilus. This Ellipse comes on an original Patek leather strap that is fitted with the original Patek Phillipe white gold buckle.
The watch is accompanied by its original guarantee paper and an extract stating the watch was made in 1977, as well the stating the Lapis Lazuli dial on the paperwork.. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
