In the late 1950's, Tiffany & Co. began printing their name on the dials of the watches they sold via their retail locations. another little-known fact is that theTiffany-branded dials had the Tiffany & Co. name added by hand at their New York City and not directly by Rolex. Additionally, Tiffany added a serialized code that is commonly etched into the underside of the lug on their watches notating the addition of the branding to the dial.

This specific example is in time capsule like condition. Its a true piece of design and the additional Tiffany branding on the dial makes this incredibly rare and desirable

CASE & BRACELET

The case and bracelet of this 1984 Rolex Datejust 16018 in 18k YG remains in sharp and unpolished condition showing little visible wear. All hallmarks are intact and clearly visible on case and bracelet including the Tiffany & Co. etching on the bottom right lug. The 18k This is what we call a complete time capsule. The case possesses a caseback engraving as can be seen in the photos.

DIAL & HANDS

The original champagne colored dial is signed with Tiffany & Co. and like the watch itself remains in flawless factory condition. The lume dots and hands show no tritium loss or degradation and remain fully intact when inspected under U.V. light.
